About Us
Over 100 years ago, 22 young college students at Howard University changed the world and founded Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. These students wanted to use their collective strength to promote academic excellence and to provide assistance to those in need. We have since initiated over 250,000 women in over 1,000 chapters across the globe working to transform lives and impact communities.
Programs
From our founding, the sorority has been committed to service through education and support of the underserved, participation in the establishment of positive public policy and implementation of programs aimed to address local issues in the community. Our internal focus is sisterhood, scholarship, and service and our community programs are centered around the Sorority's Five Point Program Thrust:

Tempe Alumnae Chapter is lead by a talented Executive Board committed to quality programming through effective and efficient chapter operations. All of our community programs are planned and implemented by committees comprised of subject matter experts and operational specialists that ensure we are meeting the needs of the community.
